Katie Britchford (1981, Melbourne, Australia) works as a multi-disciplinary artist and curator.

Her personal art practice involves the investigation and research into materiality, materialization and the agency of things.

Katie is particularly interested in the history of material and objects and the prescribed role they play within our society and our built social constructs. Katie’s work attempts to transfer fixed notions of basic usage and utilisation; through installation, spatial intervention and sculpture.
