Frauke Zabel lives in Munich.
She completed her studies with a diploma in Fine Arts and a Master in Art and Mediation – Praktik ästhetischer Theorie at the AdBK Munich.
Besides her engagement in various collective contexts, the focus of her work in recent years has been on research based performance and video art with an emphasis on the question of the possibilities of a political subject today.
Her interest lies in the transfer and translation between languages, media, times and places in the light of a possible deconstruction of hegemonic readings of history(ies).
